  DIFFERENTIATED APPROACH TO SPEECH CORRECTION OF CHILDREN WITH OPEN BITE The authors conducted a mass dental examination of 735 children (including 342 boys and 393 girls) in the period of milk and replacement bite at the age of 3 to 14 years. In 428 children (209 boys and 219 girls), there were detected abnormalities of PTSD. Of these. 23 children were diagnosed with an open bite with speech disorders, for which a complex of diagnostic and therapeutic measures was carried out. These children were recommended to wear “Infant” and T4K trainers. Was also made of a vestibular plate with the expanding screw; a vestibular arch and a lattice for the language. The use of the “Infant” trainer m complex orthodontic and speech therapy practice has given good effectiveness only in the milk bite. And in children over 5 years of age, positive effects are obtained from the use of the t4k trainer.

  DIAGNOSIS AND EFFECTIVE TREATMENT OF CRUSHING UNDER WRINKLES Present study was to optimize the treatment of patients with subglottic laryngeal stenosis. Materials and methods: We have examined a total of 8 patients presenting with subglottic laryngeal stenosis. The etiological factors and underlying conditions of laryngeal stenosis were the prolonged intubation in 5 patients. Wegener granulomatosis in 3 patients. All the patients underwent balloon dilatation with the apphcation of the \ideo endoscopic technique. Results: The surgical treatment of all the patients made it possible to achieve the persistent expansion of the lumen of the subglottic part of the larynx, to shorten the periods of the in-patient treatment and rehabilitation of the patients. Restenosis of laryngeal lining stenting was observed in one patient presenting with Wegener’s granulomatosis which was associated with the relapse of the underlying disease.

  PHYSICAL METHODS FOR THE TREATMENT OF PERIODONTITIS This article shows the results of studying the effectiveness of physical treatment methods in combination with other generally accepted methods used in the treatment of acute and chrome periodontitis. Long-term results of treatment (from 3 months to 6 months) were diagnosed in 40 patients (48 teeth). Clinical and x-ray examination in 2 patients showed negative treatment results; in 2 teeth, radiographs showed progression of bone resorption of the periapical region with complete clinical well-being: 6 teeth were re-filled due to defects in fillings. Root canal electrophoresis is the most effective method of physiotherapy of chronic periodontitis in teeth with impassable root canals.
